Hi all,

a few of us from the TVRCC Staffs & Shrops region are meeting in Stratford on Saturday ahead of our 'Christmas' evening do, does anyone fancy meeting with us in the afternoon? Short notice I know, but if anyone is free you are welcome to join us. I'll post exact details nearer the weekend, but I reckon around 2pm we'll be there.

I live in Stratford but as Maz says, the weather looks pretty poor although the floods are now going. Whereabouts are you thinking of meeting up? There's normally plenty of space in the carpark behind the leisure centre at the very back.

Yes, the Riverside car park by the leisure centre was the one we were going for. We are aiming to meet up at the New Inn for midday, then going into the centre for around 2pm.

5 cars did go into town for around 2pm, we hung around in the rain for a bit and with no movement went to the shops for a couple of hours. Sadly one of our number got a ticket for parking just over the white space dividing line - and we parked at the back with no other cars anywhere near! Spiteful bloody Stratford Council furious

I had that in the multi storey in Leamington a while ago, 6pm and the car park was emptying as people going home after work. I wrote to the Council who replied that I was preventing others from parking in the adjacent space, remaining 75% free spaces irrelevant, ticket stands!

Ah, Two Bays Whitcut, the only guy with what must be a Wide Bodied Tuscan that needs 2 parking spaces. Guess I'm lucky to have a standard body version. rofl

Anyway, big thank you to Sean & Anne Marie for organising the weekend.

We really enjoyed it, great laugh, super company, can't wait for Sean to organise the next one!! drinkdrinkdrink
