HI folks, i'm a newbie to the forum and i'm picking up my Chimaera 4.0 in 13 hrs.
I bought it from this site during the week, had never heard of the site before until speaking to Bauer & Millett in Manchester (former TVR dealers) who pointed me in the right direction.
Within 6 hrs of logging in i had found my car .
I shall look forward to getting out and about in the UK before my trip through France & Spain in the summer.

Thanks guys.
I had a 350i wedge a few years ago and was brought up on a diet of Capri v6's, i'm quite looking forward to getting back to 'seat of the pants' driving style again, modern cars are soooo predictable.
This is the Moonraker black '95' currently on the classifieds section.
I'd looked at loads of them before being bowled over seeing this.

Welcome, join the TVR Club and pop over to Blackpool next Sunday 27th to see us and meet some of the guys who made your car.

Welcome and have fun but stay alive. I second (or is it fourth) what has been said, do not get too brave until you have some practice in it. In the wet it is just waiting to bite yer head off like all TVRs and everytime you hit the brakes remember you will be going a s$%t load faster than you think, it's the nature of the beast, becuase they dont dive much it can be hard to judge how hard your are braking and it was among the first thigs that caught me out. The second was overtaking is no longer always full throttle, more often than not you have to look at the raod surface and judge the throttle or it goes all snakey snakey half way past which can be a bit of a brown trouser experience.
Enjoy
