I've fitted one to my push bike, and I can now get up hills without cycling.

According to the ebay add, for a mere £10, if i fit one I can save 28% off my fuel bill.

I've ordered four for the cerbera. Shall I weld my fuel filler cap shut now or hang on 'til I've tested them ?

In the spirit of PH I have to add this:

eBay Ad said:
Q. 1 How long is the life of my Fuel Saver?
Put simply, longer than the life of your vehicle.
As it's aimed at TVR owner, that's 'not very long' then? wink

There was a stand at Autosport selling a similar type of item .. how people can get away peddling their stuff in a predominantly technical show without getting lynched beats me!

How much did you charge him for it then?
What do they give you, discount off RRP or commission?

In the 60's my old man worked for a company that experimented with a product which consisted of a box full of water absorbing crystals which were attached to the exhaust pipe. When the car was stationary and not runing the crystals would absorb moisture from the atmosphere, when the car was running the heat from the exhaust pipe would cause the crystals to give off vapour which would find its way mysteriously into the air cleaner and improve fuel atomisation in the carb " Doesn't your car always go better on a damp day sir? Suit you Sir!"

I realised it was rubbish when the old boy put boxes of them on the window sills to stop the windows steaming up in Winter - which they didn't. Funnily enough I never remember him coming legging it home with a big cigar and bottle of bubbly because he's just sold a milion of the damn things - not actually sure he sold any at all as it goes.

Another blind alley of motor engineering innovation

scratchchin Ohhhh you doubters..... I believe in this product hehe .... it just needs proper market placement and some creditabilty added.......QVC do it all the time, so I think I should take this product on and make my million.

The more I think about it..... if the claims are true on fuel saving then surely this item could comand a much higher price whith a pay back period of say 3yrs hmmmm.....so that makes a price of £756 by my maths.

Its like my mates says when he used to sell knock off "burberry"...... people stay clear when its dirt cheap, but when the price 50% of the real price flogged a lot more...... wierd but thats people mentallity, if its to good to be true they stay clear.

Right so I've now established the real price for the item......so if I boxed it up properly, with some "good quotes" added to the packaging like:

Dave Smith from Romford age 55

"it saved me gallons on my daily cummute to work....."

Kevin T. from Bath aged 19

"increased the performance on my Nova so I could out run a TVR...."

Right of the bank for a lone to set up my business (buy from ebay at a tenner, re-package and flog for £756)... its a no brainer.

If only :cloudnine: hehe

Can I have one off you, or is there a waiting list ?

If so, put me in the order queue please. I might be able to make some money selling my place in the queue if demand is high enough.

p.s. Any discount for cash ?

Actualy, it could be completely true. I have always experienced all of my previous cars running much better when I have renewed the wiper blades.
I believe this IS due to the new rubber blades interfering with the worlds magnetic field locally to the car and causing the petrol to ionize in the injectors in a similar manner to the magnet thingy.

MY GOD, MAYBE I'VE STUMBLED ONTO A NEW WAY OF MARKETING WIPER BLADES. silly

I have had my car converted to run on biofuel.

At the moment this requires an elaborate converter to produce methane.

I was thinking of buying four of the fuel savers, then attaching them around my fuel suppliers ankles.

This should allow me to run on pure bull.

I Bought one of these and I was getting 75mpg out of my TVR

Then I had a knock on the door with agents representing the Inland Revenue, The Arabs, Russians , BP, Esso etc. and they confiscated it. They stated that as I was not using as much petrol as before and therefore not paying as much tax as well all their revenues were down.

Be warned!!
