Having seen the "To carinatauk" thread today and knowing that both 'Lord B' and 'ratman' are, like myself, recent tiv owners. I wondered how many of us there are in Lincolnshire.
I am aware of both 'apn' and 'andyf007' but who else is out there?

Well I'm in Lincolnshire today, but just back home visiting Mum, and I haven't got the Griff with me either, so I suppose shutting up would be good here!

I've seen a Chimaera in Bourne, and an S2, a Tuscan and a Griff in Scunthorpe (yes, it is back in Lincolnshire now). No PH stickers on any of them though

Hi Corinne,
Shame you haven't got the Griff with you but it is a long journey over here

Like you I've seen the odd Tuscan/Chim, there are a few new members recently registered in TVRCC EM region but as you say they don't seem to be PHers.
Have a good day with Mum!

Hi Yellabelly

Yep I'm in Lincolnshire but have yet to get my PH sticker.

Would be interested to see how many there are in the county.

Next door has a S; I have a Chim and I have seen at least 3 different Chims going through the town; as well as a new Cerb.

Regards

I work in Market Deeping which I think just scrapes into Lincolnshire.

Drive in from Peterborough which is nice as most people are going the other way

Theres a burgandy Chim around Deeping too but I don't think (s)he's a PH'er as I've posted a 'spotted' before but had no reply.

Hi George/Rob
I am sure there are a number of other owners who have not yet had the good fortune to find the PH website, the hope is that they will join the TVRCC and find out that way.
George, whereabouts are you located? is the S owner on PH as well?
I am just north of Lincoln, ratman is just south of Lincoln and LordB is in North Lincs.

Rob, as you said you travel in the right direction coming to work and it's not a bad run from Peterboro'.

Hi all. Just picked up on this thread and wondered where it is heading - could it be there are enough of us to start a splinter group ?? Having just got an S3 as yellabelly pointed out I am mostly in the garage at present so have been quiet on the forum for the last week or so. Cheers Ratman.

No offence mate but i dont like splinter groups as they don't offer any benefits
every TVR has its own forum here and on TVRCC by creating a splinter group the knowledge would get split up

All IMHO

Hi Pies. No offence taken. I suppose splinter group was a bad choice of words - I was thinking more of a social basis really.

ratman,
I understand what you were proposing with regard to meeting up locally, which I fully support as we see on any number of other threads especially from the southern regions (didn't they break away from the City of London Region or somesuch?)
As Pies has said joining the TVRCC, making contact thro' the RO and attending their get togethers has to be of great benefit. The local social side benefits as we meet more tiv enthusiasts.
Ian, If you need a hand with the car give me a call.

Thanks yellabelly. I have sorted out the idling and am now removing oxide from each of the wheels as the last owner enjoyed the driving but didnt pay back in the form of TLC - fortunately the previous owners did so not too bad. Am in the process of joining the club so will pursue the RO option when settled. Ta for the advice. Cheers Ratman.

Where abouts kstead and what do you drive? Are you the burgandy Chimaera I sometimes see in the morning going into Peterbororough?

i have sold a Red Chimaera and a Green Cerbera Lightweight into Wisbech recently if that helps?

But your right not alot of TVR's there

(however as usual there are alot more than people assume and many are hidden away with 2000 miles a year probably done each year very early on a Sunday)

Jamer,
Hope is that the new owners will log on to PH and join TVRCC

I think it is indicative that the lack of cars allied with the size of the county which borders four other regions makes it difficult for owners, as snorky said
[we'd contact our RO but we dont seem to have one for Lincs just North and South Yorks....? ]

The EM region is a large area with most activity around Nottingham which can make it a fairly long journey to join in the activities, although they are to be commended for trying to bring some of the get togethers over this way including the Xmas Dinner at Woodhall Spa.

So Mr Agger: -

SELL MORE!

Hi IanV,

As you will see from the replies there are a number of owners in the south of the county, as previously stated I hope we can meet up sometime soon.

BTW the wedge looks superb but I see from your profile that you have had non-technical problems, I'm pleased you've got that resolved.
