Our RO hasnt done it so I will. The Northern Ireland Region hold four track days a year at Kirkistown race track that are well run TVR Car Club NI Region events and relatively cheap, £85.00.
Problem is that we never get a full complement of TVRs so end up wih lot of other exotica/ track cars.
I would love to see the dates full of just TVRs. So boys and girls why not come over for a couple of days do the track day and do the East Coast run from Carrick to the Giants Causeway which is one of the most scenic routes in the world.
No I dont work for the tourist board, but would love to see these events full of TVRs.
Details of of dates can be found on the Northern Ireland Regional forum and bookings are through Colin L our RO.
Hotel within good travelling distance and plenty of parking would be the Clandeboye Lodge. The NI group could come and have a pint with you there on the Saturday night- and a golf club accross the road
Hope to see some of you this year.

Two things:

1. Can you post the dates on this forum?

2. Do any NI owners plan to join the IoM meeting on 28th March?

Thanks Bob

I posted in the N. Ireland Forum and we will have fun.

The Kirkistown track days are by far the best ones the TVRCC run.

Why, simple we have around 35 cars with a 1:8 mile circuit to play on, and take one of the fastest corners, taken at speeds from 95 to 115 mph, Debtors Dip.

We have a safe fun attitude to our track play, more a family track group day and very very good fun.

Get in contact if you want to book your place.

Sounds good, with a ferry trip I bet it still comes in under £200? Maybe not, average ferry is about £180. Good chance to see different scenery

Today was a beautiful day in Northern Ireland. My partner and I took the Tamora along the coast road from Belfast to Portstewart. The sun shone, and while the sea looked calm, the waves beating against the shore were spectacular. We stopped at three little harbours, Ballintoy, Port Braddan, and Dunseverick. The roads are narrow, hilly and great to drive on, with very little traffic. The views across to Scotland and Rathlin island were stunning.
It was quite a coincidence to return tonight to see the coast road as a topic. Bobd is right to encourage any Tvr driver to try it. It is very well worth it.

Ferries are usually around the £145 - £190 mark as said good chance for different scenery, try a new track and meet some fellow TVR nuts.
Its still a good value weekend away compared to trackdays on the other side of the Irish sea.

No Bob is not the RO in waiting, that would be JIGSbiggrinbiggrinbiggrinbiggrinbiggrinbiggrin

Reason for little posting is heavy work load, and enjoying driving the cars more than writting about them.

We are very much alive, well last time I looked in the mirror I saw this lot looking back at mebiggrinbiggrinbiggrinbiggrinbiggrinbiggrinbiggrin

Colin, thanks for puting me right there and for pictures, there is a pulse, you guys seem to have more than your fair share of Sagaris's (Sagari sp) looking forward to coming over again in May.

Oh Yes we do in deed, and that was not all of them, just 1/2 of them, not bad for a wee region.

Chimaera's still rule in Ireland (North & South)

We keep the Griff boys in there place, but they are also having a up surge, at the moment with 3 new ones.

4 New Tuscan's are turned up in the past 4 months and Cerbera's are getting common as well.

Tamora's are on the low side, along with the older models now, we do need a Wedge over here.

Last Wedge on track in Ireland was back in '98, so there's a challenge for the Wedge boys & girls then.

Cheers
Colin

COME ON GUYS AND GALS book your place and drive the fastest track in Ireland
