wavey C'mon the Herts/N. London Massive - fancy blowing the cobwebs away, charging the battery up and joining the neighbours in Mid-Essex this Sunday?

It goes like this... Meet South Mimms usual place in car park at 10:00 to depart around 10:20 for second meeting point about 35 minutes later (join M25 east at S. Mimms to exit at A12) . Meet other convoy there at 11:00 and depart at 12:00 for final destination where a warm greeting, more Tiv-Talk, drinks, coffee, snacks and optional carvery await you!

The weather is forecast good so be there - you know it makes sense!!driving

I'm with you Hoover. Not really interested in going in for grub.

Anyone would think it's winter and we are all working on the P&J's smash
Got the car started today and have the drivers seat in so should be up and running to some capacity! Wont have a centre console till the week after though. Still down south in Dad's workshop.

Would be an awesome day's drive so lets get some numbers in!!

Not sure about the M25 and A12 route you are proposing though. Bit boring. The Herts and Beds meet are convoying to the Mid essex lot on the 2nd Sunday of March. Although i think this will leave from the George and take a more A-road route to meet at the White Hart for the big convoy to the golf club.

Because the convoy from The WH to the golf club is all A & B roads (and fairly sedate because of the size of convoy and the need to accommodate those not knowing the route etc) the M25 / A12 bit first is a great contrast and pipe opener. Especially through the two M 25 tunnels biggrin Just ask Hoover who had his hands so full of Griff last time he couldn't shut his passenger door till we arrived at the WH smile

As far as food/drinks go, I really don't care too much either way but some do.

Mal, I will be standing in for Reeso at the March Meet.....

Would be really chuffed if you could mail me a few days before the Meet with a rough guide to how many cars you may have coming over.

Cheers

Hmm, tempting if the weather is as nice as today.
Mind you, after driving all these quick cars lately the old 4L Chimmy might prove a bit on the slow side. Note to self "stop looking at the SC ads"
