Right then before all you purists start going 'whose is this muppet' or slagging me off - It was either sell the bloody thing or buy a jag! so I kept the TVR, bought a jag and a pipe and went about trying to create a truly reliable cerbera - this was before the bloody russian bought the firm and sank it - anyway I sold the original 4.2 and bought a 2003 M3 with gearbox and management system from a rear end right off. We stripped the car rebuilt the holed chassis!! powder coated it, had a bespoke exhaust system built, new suspension, etc (see photos under my car section). Anyway I want to completely loose all TVR electronics and find someone to rewire the car so the M3 management system talks to the TVR dials and also completely loose and upgrade all the buttons (especially the ones off the hotpoint washing machine - Can anyone point me in the right direction. Regards Beevoid (H7ELL).

Can't help but would love to see the pics - unfortunately, they're not showing up in your My Car section?

If you give Phil Crouch a call at CPC near slough, he's an M specialist who's main thing is auto electrics. He would LOVE something like this:

I don't have his number handy, but if you drop me a mail through my profile, i'll forward it on when i do.

This is presumably the car converted at RT Racing ? there can't be many green cerberas with M3 engines in .. looked a nice conversion when I last saw it they;ve done a good job for you, but who's choice was the colour of the chassis? hehe

Zanussi buttons look better.

I had a mate that had a 2002 M3, engine blew then diff went later, seems nothing is bullet proof, didn't sound as good as the TVR neither.

thats not an 03 engine in the pics, its either a 3.0 or 3.2 e36 engine.

reliable sacrilege though!, I think this project is to applauded, on a point the fuel injected, supercharged, Daimler-Benz engine, was very advanced and reliable for its time!

Must be down on power and even more on torque though!

Probably reasonable quick, but nothing like 4.5 Cerb fast. 320bbhp in 1200kg..... vs 360-380 in the same weight.

M5 V8 would be better IMHO if you want German (doubt it would fit with the DOHC heads through) - prefer Huge power and gruntwink, but maybe that is just me.......
