morning all...

went out for a fantastic blatt with my mate pasco yesterday... great weather, great roads, great cars, great day, but what spoilt it was this... i couldn't quite shake him off round the twisties or straights frown

now i know that he's had lots done to his little griff and it's pushing out nearly 400 ponies but still, he should have dissapeared into the ether just like the chims and MX5's do (they look the same to me).

after much analysis of my driving skills and further interigation of my power and torque curves and found them all in order and infact quite enviable, I've identified the reason for this embarassing performance... slight damage to my front left spider caused by clipping a low cobble stone whilst hooning around some lanes towards the end of last season.

i meant to get it sorted over the winter but didn't. wish i had coz yesterdays lack luster performance would never have happened.

so help is required... do you know where i can exchange my bent spider for a shiney spangley new one?

i'm hoping you guys know of a place that will send me one so i can fit it and then send mine back, job done

any help would be appreciated

thanks

cb

ps i apologise for not loosing the griff and therefore letting all fellow cerb owners down, it won't happen again... honest.

As fas as I am aware, the spiders are unfixable if they are bent. So I can't see anyone doing any kind of exchange. If it's superficial, there are plenty of places that will accept yours first, and send a replacement that has been refurbed.

There is a company in Blackpool that i thought did exchange of spiders for a 50 quid per corner basis, and then some courier costs etc. cannot think of the name now, but im sure they advertise on Ebay too?..
