Been working in Paris for a little while so thought I'd bring the Tuscan out for some weekend fun.
Parked it in the hotel's underground car park myself (never let a valet touch it!), came back a day later to find this...

...looks like some muppets reversed into it.

To their credit the hotel have been fantastic and agreed to pay all repair costs unconditionally, so my question to you good people is does this look like it needs a full respray to you, or maybe something less dramatic?
I haven't needed a respray before so I'm a bit in the dark.

Any advice would be great.

Chas.

if the hotel is paying might as well get a full respray done before the spring/summer! smile

Sorry to hear of your unfortunate damage.
But that is some hotel offering to pay for it. Fair play indeed.
Any chance of naming this hotel where the credit is due?

I'd be careful on taking the p**** re the cost.

That is similar to the damage done by some idiot in a Volvo to my P&J.
Surface and Design in Blackpool repaired the crush damage and just sprayed the panel, the repair is invisible.

This is what I was wondering about - whether the whole backend needed a respray or if it could be a more local treatment.
Can I ask you the time and cost for yours V8?

Cheers, Chas.

Since the hotel and I both know it was probably a valet who caused the damage (they don't generally let the clientele park themselves) I think I'll keep schtum about the name.
But check your e-mail.

A good paint sprayer can respray your panel without any colour problems.
I had my bonnet done in Rosso perlesce which is the most difficult colour to match without any problem.
