Mentions 70 to 80 foot/pounds in this Topic. I do mine to 75 foot/pounds.

Found this on one Sag/Tamora/350 thread:

The "official TVR" torque setting is 65 lbft. The generic standard for a M12 untreated stud/ nut combination is 75 lbft. Coated threads (such as Dacromet) affect the clamp load transfer so normally require different torque levels - this may be the case for Shiny Nuts (stainless steel) hence their figure of 80 lbft

Thanks, but what is it in Newton Metres? As I am going to buy an Accutorq and they quote Neton metres.
Accutorq are a socket which fits onto an impact wrench and are made to automatically tighten the nuts to the correct torque, each socket has it's own torque. Saves messing around with a torque wrench, and only about £20 each.

Just Googled it. Divide Newton metres by 0.737562.
75 Ftlbs equals 101.69 Newton metres.

80 lb ft = 108.4 Nm

75 lb ft = 101.6 Nm

70 lb ft = 94.9 Nm

Hope this helps. Not a smart spod here just have a computer programme that works it oot..
