Quietly driving home in my Tam after picking my son up from school.

Some sort of BMW was approaching on the other side of the road.

As he was passing me I casually looked across at him and he very slowly and rather sheepishly gives me the 'loser' sign that Clarkson is so fond of.

I thought he was about to scratch his head or something.

What's that all about then?

It didn't even register until he was long gone but then I just felt sorry for the guy.

Is this sort of thing commom with beemer drivers?

Get it together man.... You're driving a TVR..... The least you should have is quick reactions.

You should have had the "wr" hand gesture going, long before your headlights passed each other.

BMW you say ? Was it a 3 series, blacked out windows, init..... Perhaps it was an "L" for "do you want any LSD ?"

Was the seat on maximum recline, so that you could only just see the peak of his cap ?

I've always thought that Clarkson looks a right prick, when he does that L thing.

God only knows, what the BM driver looked like.

I'd have probably took him seriously if he was pointing a gun..... but making an "L" with his fingers....... What a tt laugh

Just don't see how anyone could think that about someone driving a beautiful car.

I'd never do that.

Maybe I'm old fashioned.

It's just a combination of jelousy,and a complete lack of understanding.yesWhen people like that show the 'L' symbol on their forehead,it is like saying"look at me,i'm a loser,and i dont realise it"wink

Definitely letting you know hes a learner driver and to keep a safe distance.

Would have made me laugh as he acknowledged hes slightly jealous off you.

hehe nice one

After two years of ownership the only time I was abused was on a duel carriageway at the lights, some guys in a car probably drunk started shouting stuff I thought about getting out but then I would have been the loser.

Best ignoring these pea brains because its a reaction they want after all.
