about 3 miles further north on the A1M after Baldock.

Directions

From South - Take A1(M) to junction 10 where it becomes the A1 as you drive over the junction you will come to the brow of a hill and at the bottom you will see two BP petrol stations either side of the road. Prepare to slow down and indicate as you get level with the garage on the northbound side, the first entrance into the venue is Taylors Road is only about 100 yds on from the garage, if you miss this the next (sharp) turn into the lodge comes up in about another 100 yds and for the very clumsy there is a third entrance after about 200 yds. If you miss all three go up the hill to the Langford turn off and follow the signs for the A1(M) and south, rejoin the A1 going in the wrong direction, wave to us as you go past back to junction 10 where you can turnaround and try again.

From North – As you come down the A1 you will see a BP garage on your left, the Tudor Oaks is directly opposite but teasingly you can’t crossover to it, continue on the A1 to Junction 10 (Baldock Services) and use the junction to turn around and head north and then follow the directions above (from South)

Mal - forecast is for rain apparently; will the detailer still be able to do a demo in those conditions? I only ask because I'll be coming over from Chelmsford and didn't want to get all the way there to find it's cancelled!

Thanks, Mal.

Keith, you're getting as bad as that V8GRF bloke, sneaking around on Southerners-only threads. You'll be searching all the forums next and posting replies to show everyone how clever you are. Must be something in the Preston water I reckon wink

Just a last minute note to prompt those that are undecided to turn up due to the weather to COME ALONG!! Lets support Mal and all the hard work he has put in to get the meet organised. thumbup

Well, I wouldn't have minded coming along, but I passed by the Tudor Oaks at about 06:30, 'en route' to North Weald for the first round of the TVRCC Speed Championship. It looked a bit closed at that time of day...

Hope the weather was better there than it was at the sprint. Horizontal rain, freezing cold and we only got one timed run because the weather was playing havoc with the timing electronics. There probably wouldn't have been time for two, anyway, with the number of people spinning. In places it was more like power-boating than sprinting.

rofl

That's another one I've noticed on the day it happened. Rather unfortunate.
