a quiet Wedge??

Today I took my grandfather out for a ride in the Tasmin and said to him (as a joke!): "Quiet car, isn't it!?" His (completely serious) reaction was "Yes, you can hardly hear it." The car makes about a 100-110 dB! And he still thinks he isn't deaf 
Even the dentist, who works two streets from here, can hear the Wedge when we start it...
