Top photos Supraman...

I'll add some that my passenger took tomorrow morning.. hopefully they'll be some where you can see the line of cars, rather than just Pies V8S and his chevy-chase in the windscreen!

Oh, and Mr Freefall video'd the convoy from the back!!!

The "Pie mobile"

Good turnout... plenty of new people (good to see you! ) and we've now worked out that if EVERYONE who's ever been on the convoy came, we'd have 42 cars!!!

The shame of it, thanks for posting this Supraman

I would like to apologise profusely to everyone for Max's undignified entrance, he had been as good as gold all the way there, and then just as I'm lining up the car to reverse it, I hear a call of 'stop' and there is Max trying to make a bolt for the shade, all I can see is his genitalia and derrier, luckily the seat belt harness stopped him getting out.

Although I laughed at the time, needless to say I beat him senseless with a bit of 4x2 when we got home.......

When the convoy got caught up at the BP roundabout I was trying to get some footage of the cars in the queue that’s why I crawled up the slower lane of cars and was not at the back any more. I was going to wait at the roundabout to re-join the rear but had some upset plonker behind me getting irate as I wouldn't pull out, obviously has something against TVR’s

As for the Renault, it was a slow overtake, not a drop to 2nd and floor it which I saw the car in front do... He was more annoyed that I let Dave Smith out and someone else just down the road.

Grahame, you’ve been promoted to rear gunner for the next meet…Good luck

Looking forward to the footage! - Hopefully we'll have Andy Lockett back for the next convoy... the "regular" for keeping the newbies in check!!!

Great photo's Lee. Sorry that I missed the meet Pauline. I still haven't got the Tasmin back and I felt a bit out of place last month when I came up in the Escort. Also seeing all of those lovely cars there would have made me , so Iouldn't have been much use to anyone.

Trying to get my girlfriend a bit more into the whole TVR/car thing, but without much luck. She decided that she fancied a day out in London and I wasn't going to argue with her.

Would love to see the video of the convoy Mr Freefall. Have you got one that I could have?

Hello all, my first meet and enjoyed the convoy but...., what was the problem with my overtake? I was the Griff in front of Mr. Freefall, the Renault was slow, the road was straight, long and clear. I thought getting past quickly would allow those behind to follow, so 2nd gear and floor it which I thought was the safest way to overtake in the circumstances. It felt safe to me and didn't seem to concern the driver of the Renault.
For the future then, is overtaking slower traffic frowned upon then?

I'm distressed. You missed me in one picture.

First for me too. Great fun, good to meet some new faces (and on Saturday too).

Certainly hope not - Mr Big uses this overtaking style all the time - probably the safest way

Hottest day 'ever' and the 32 year old Vixen didn't miss a beat once.

Driving the damn thing however, left us a stone lighter each by the time we'd got back to Epping.
