Yes, I am......My headlights ceased working yesterday, but I decided not to let it get me down. I posted a thread on here asking for help and got it. I went through all possible faults, using the advice from on here, and the bible when I got home, and managed to diagnose and fix the fault myself.

I am completely inept when it comes to repairs/ maintenence/ DIY so this is a really big thing for me.

May I be the first to congratulate myself !!!

And for my next "little job", I will be changing the indicator repeaters to clear/ white.
If all goes well, I will then be tackling the indicators themselves......again to clear/ white lenses.

Wish me luck !

Changing the front indicators is easy, the old ones just push out of the black mesh, assuming you have an early car. You will have to cut the connector off the old indicator and swop it for the one on the new one as they are different. Then just seal the new indicator in using silicone sealant.
