northants turnout

what a nice turnout at the northants meet tonite ( sorry yesterday) , lots of cerbera's ,tuscans, chimaeras and griffs, and a couple of really nice wedges ( i want the white 450se) ,and an older one not quite sure of the model, and the ro(dennis) has got himself a really nice tuscan ,and now the wife wants me to get a cerbera as she prefers the looks to our chim. we share the meet with a classic car club and there are quite a few old things but one thing really caught my eye and that was a yellow dax( westfield type thing) with a rover v8 engine nearly new by the looks of it ,it must really fly with that engine in it, and its good at the end as people leave and give there cars a bit of welly ( not a biult up area so its ok) so we can see how things go, but i never knew that there were so many TVR's in northants as i never see any about on my travels and our chim is out most weekends or one my days off, do they all sit in garages and just come out for the meets or does everybody meet at other places at the weekends , i look forward to the monthly meet but i would like to have more happen at the weekends when its dry...loved the white 450se though.

We didn't get there until 9pm but there were still loads of cars there. Dennis's Tuscan is gorgeous and an immediate edict was issued by my management that we have to get one of those. Just a small matter of the money... There was also a purple Ultima which sounded stunning as he wellied away from the pub.
Oh, and there was a vanfull of BiB sitting on the roundabout on the Northants bypass....
