Chimaera Gearbox

I'm beginning to get problems getting her into 5th - it feels like a problem with the 'gate' and often needs a couple of shoves to get it into gear.

Anyone got any tips as to what it may be before I go to the dealer, find out I need a new gearbox and start having to consider a re-mortgage ?!

I've got a problem going from 2nd to 3rd gear probably due to a worn synchro. Can select 3rd okay but not without crunching the gear. It's better if I change up slowly from 2nd but you shouldn't need to do this of course and it's a pain when accelerating fast not to mention looking uncool!!

The warranty has nearly expired so I'm going to have to get it checked out soon. Might be worth you contacting a TVR specialist in your area rather than main dealer to help keep costs down
