Price when new

I was just wondering how much my Chim 500 would have cost new in 1997.

Anyone know ?

I'm guessing the same as a Griff 500 which I'm sure was £35 K + depending on the options.

I remember looking at a 92 Griff 4.0 once and the original invoice from the TVR Centre was in the book pack, it had all the receipts, but the invoice price was something like 24k with all the options it had, such great value then and now even, its a reminder of why they did so well in the first place.
