Ronovo hood stuff / question
Discussion
I've used Renova for 2 - 3 years on my S3. Although the roof was originally blue, I paint it black - the inside is pale grey and the black does not come through. Not sure if your hood is the same material. My S3 appears to be some sort of MDF with a covering.
Even so, the Renova comes off with water if you wash it off immediately.

I'll give it a go, thanks Rich...I did mine yesterday
. I've got a starmist blue, with dark blue hood. I brought the dark blue bottle, but imagine my surprise that once I started to paint it on, it came out bright blue, i.e not matching the roof colour at all
. I stood there looking at it for about 2 minute's (in - not sure what to do mode) as I was sure this was going to ruin my roof. Thought oh well I've done it now, I'll have to carry on. and within about 20 minute's the colour had faded and had darkened the roof.
I'm going to give it another coat this weekend, but initially it seems cool. My roof wasn't that faded, so I don't think it's done as much as I was hoping for. It is probably best on cars which live outside lots (mine doesn’t). Although it has covered 3 marks on the roof which I've previously tried all-sorts to get rid of -
.
And mine doesn’t seemed to have leaked through, as this is water based surely it will only leak through as much as water does. So if your roof leaks then yes it will, if the roof doesn’t leak, then no it wont..
