September Rally

Just wanted to bring your attention to an event that I participated in last year that was fantastic. It was an 'Endurance Rally' run by The Guild of Motor Endurance. www.guildofmotorendurance.co.uk Last years event started in Angouleme in SW France and finished in Santiago de Compostela in NW Portugal. Almost all of the driving was on the most amazing country roads in the Pyreneese and Picos mountain ranges. The event was 5 days long and involved getting to check points within a time window (not too early and not too late). I could spout on forever because it was just the best car based event I have ever taken part in. The good news is this September the event starts near Cannes in SE France and finishes 5 days later in Rome (some great roads there). It's very well run and despite being mainly open to kit cars, small volume manufactures such as TVR and Lotus are able to take part. I will be in my Griff 500 as last year. The other good news is it is only £625 per person which includes 5 nights in hotels. Have a look at the web site it is a great event, great driving and great people.
