This British company look like they are making a great new vehicle; though I think it looks "vaguely familiar" from some angles?

Should we be looking at replacing our Internal Combustion engines with electric power instead of for instance an LS2 lump?

Not sure about that, but Connaught have been planning a V10 'hybrid' for a few years. Their web site says first customer cars Mid 2008!

Apparently for the £150,000 you get a "noise generator", perhaps it comes with a free wife?

My wife version 1.0 wasn't programmable, if they've mastered that they would be worth a lot more than £150k silly

Right... knowing the current and near future state of battery technology in terms of kWh stored per kg... 700+ bhp and a 130+ mph top speed? Either this thing weight 3 tonnes or you'll be out of juice by the end of the street you live in if driving in any way 'enthusiastically'... that, or release is planned for 2038 - just in time for the proposed ban of human-controlled vehicles.wink
