According to the press blurb;
"Beira carries on from where Marcos and TVR left off in terms of providing maximum performance for money spent, and real individuality, said Breckland director Mike Rawlings."
Err.. right. Lets see. It's styling is bland, more like a Toyota than a TVR. It's a lot slower than any TVR of the modern era. It's much heavier than a TVR. It's hardly individual, most of it comes from the GM parts bin. Apart from that they've really caught the spirit of TVR.
I'd rather have a Corvette.

Its a two seater sports car with a thumpin great v8 up front.....and thats about as close as it gets to be a TVR replacement.
Like others have said, its too bland and sanitised for my taste and its way too heavy and slow to be a match on driving experience.
They should never have said it was a TVR replacement, as it has a lot going for it in its own right including a sensible price tag, but TVR replacement it aint.

I suspect that'll be the problem with any new 'TVR competitors'. GM will always be pumping out an equally exciting, mass produced, quality-controlled alternative for peanuts. They seem to have really raised their game with the latest 'vettes too.Chris71 said:

IT could do with being 300kg lighter though, ironically 50kg of that is probably all the LPG gubbins!
