Any of you Tuscan/Dunlop challenge guys (or anyone else) fancy giving a young talented driver a shot in a different car?
Alex Gassman (the son of a friend of mine) is currently racing in an MR2 series and in his first year in this series he’s showing great promise with a second place already under his belt. Videos of his drives can be seen on youtube at:-
http://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=Gassma...
It seems very hard to get support for young drivers so anyone want to give this guy a shot?

Teeth have met arm. Details have been passed to the lads father to follow up the offer from Graham.
Keep a look out for Alex Gassman, he can't half drive.

The latest on this is...... I've got Graham and Jeremy, Alex father, talking so we'll wait and see what happens. I've got to say the offer from Graham sound fantastic to me and I'd give it a shot if I was half the driver Alex is.

And another update if anyone is interested....Wednesday 16 July: Graham Walden of Black Cat Racing has very generously made his TVR Tuscan race car available to Alex to test drive at Mallory Park. The car has 350 bhp and will be the most “lively” car Alex has driven yet! This will add greatly to the valuable bank of experience Alex is building up.
If anyone would like to take a look Alex has a web site here:- http://www.alexgassman.com/

Car and driver all back home in one piece after some very respectable Lap times..

I must say though I was actually more nervous when I let Pops Take the Ducati Round the paddock than when I let Alex Drive the Tuscan....

Although that may have been something to do with me needing the bike to get home on !!!!

Hopefully if we can find a suitable race and some funding to cover costs We'll Get Alex out in the Tuscan for a Race..

I'll put an update on here with comments from Alex when I can or maybe Alex could do it himself?

Here's the update from Alex website.
Graham Walden of Black Cat Racing very generously made his TVR Tuscan race car available to Alex to test drive at Mallory Park. The car had 350 bhp and was running on full racing slick tyres. Alex had about 20 minutes driving the TVR and it took him a few laps to get to grips with driving a car completely different to anything he’d experienced before, but by the end of the test session he was putting in some competitive lap times.
