How hot do the exhausts get?
Discussion
My PAS fluid reservoir has been moved to the front chassis cross member, just in front of the exhausts. It is possible that my intermittent PAS fault is due to the reservoir and contents over heating, so i am going to try and insulate the reservoir from the radiated heat. I have a "plumber's mat", to protect areas near soldering, which is good up to 600c.
Should this be enough? - It's not touching the exhausts.

His PAS pump has been moved, as his post says. I think its a possible there is too much heat, you can get the exhaust heat wrap and maybe wrap your mainfold too, wont do anyharm in keeping charge temps down in the bay too. Or there is heat reflective shield. KNow the exhausts get damm hot, look at the pic in the tuscan forum about dash heat prob! Would be a mess cleaning up a melted rubber mat!
