As the title says, bought some from http://www.corbymotorsport.com/ Very good advice given and a fantastic service too so thought I'd give Mike a thumbs up on here. thumbup

Got them fitted at Torque RVT and as usual a top job from Ian too! thumbup

Best bit of money spent on the car so far, what an improvement! smile

They're a 100% improvement on before. Feels so much better than on the standard ones........but that's probably not to difficult!

I put them on about a year ago. Great to begin with but needed to have them adjusted again afer a few months as the springs shortened by quite alot over time and the performance deteriorated as a result. They have been OK since they were adjusted though! Not sure I would have used them had I been aware of this issue! I also don't know if this is a common issue or a one off.

I'd be interested to hear what the longevity of the gaz gold shocks are (or are likely to be).I'm near the point of having to change the originals and want to get it right. I use it on the roads but may do the odd track day in the future.

I would recommend getting some Steve Heath drop links as well. Together they will transform your cars handling.

Cheers Stuart. Are you running Gaz Golds and, if so, how have you found them?

Just got some racing reds, and for an update, the Chimaera has now moved up to Aberdeen, a far distance from Peterborough!

Stuart, I look forward to hearing your experiences using the racing reds.

So you've left the chimp and moved to a Tuscan - how are you finding it? As you know I had my eye on your chimaera before you bought it. At the time I made enquiries of ex-chimaera owners of the difference between it and a Tuscan. In the end I bought a Tuscan and, having never driven a chimaera, I still don't know what it's like!
