In the search for my TVR I have been offered the possibility of a car from Dreamachines in Heathfield. I had never heard of them until today and would be interested in any good / bad service you have received or heard of? Cheers

Hi,
I am now living in Hants, but used to work in Uckfield. I bought my first TIV from Dream Machines (rolex blue - bloody lovely). I ave to say, I found them a great bunch of guys who were always helpful and helped me look after my car with great care.

Cheers. I know everyone will have an opinion, and it is very much subjective, personality and service based.. but if you dont ask, you wont know. Thx again!

I had them inspect my Griff which I bought privately. Their report was spot on and I've found no faults that they didn't.

I used them for a couple of bits on my Tuscan 2, they seem ok.

I bought my Tuscan through Dream Machines over 3 years ago and they have serviced it each year since then. The car has now covered more than 27,000 miles with no problems.

They have been selling/servicing TVRs for a number of years and understand the complexities of the cars. They also have a decent spares stock.

DM are not the cheap compared with independents but I prefer peace of mind knowing that IF the car every developed a problem, they would have the experience and knowledge to get me back on the road in the shortest time.

Bought mine from them back in 2006, mainly because it had a year's warranty. I had a few warranty items (including timing chain breakage!) which they sorted out without any problems and they always came to collect the car from West Malling.

A very good service, they always seem to be very busy, not sure how many TVR people they have there at the moment.

Heard mixed things about themover the years. I am sure there are many who are very satisfied and some that aren't.
Personally I would buy a car privately and get it serviced by APM if I was in East sussex.

I bought my T350 fom them last year, it was a very smooth transaction. It came with a years warranty and i recently needed some work done on it, engine mount, fans, cracked weld on cats and they sorted it out within 2 weeks of my initial phone call. I've been happy with the service so far.
