Hi,

The Speedo is my Griff has packed up. I've checked the speed sensor end and that's fine so am assuming something’s given up the ghost in the actual instrument.

1) Could anyone suggest/recommend where to purchase a replacement unit?
2) Do any companies offer exchange units as I'm guessing these instruments aren't made any more, and it'll be crazy to bin the old one!
3) I'm planning on getting the dash reveneered whilst I'm at it, could anyone suggest/recommend some companies that do this?

Many thanks in advance

London Carriage Craft re-veneered my dash and the quality was superb.

I've been in conversation with Simon at Leven regarding refurbishing my speedo (it only goes up to 85mph no matter what the revs!) - he could probably arrange to take a look at your speedo

www.speedycables.co.uk are the people that you need for speedo refurb. They used to have some tie in with the factory.

Hi Mark, Cheers for the info. Did Simon give you any ideas on costs and time to turn round?

Simon is currently aranging for a replacement speedo (to hold in stock I think) as the turn around is quite long - after all you couldn't leave their garage without a speedo rolleyes We've not yet fixed a price as he's not yet got a final cost of the repair. Suggest you give him a call - if he knows he has a couple in the offing, it may helpwink
