15-20mins with nothing more than common sense reuqired. The instructions I got with it were very straight forward to follow. It may have taken me 30mins as I was being very careful and checking everything twice when I did mine.
+1 Excellent instructions with pictures. took me about 30 mins and I was faffing around. I reckon it could be done in 10 minutes.

Is this easy to fit to a chimera or should I leave it to someone who knows what they're doing?
If you have the basics, for example can identify a +ve and -ve wire using a miltimeter and are handy with simply cutting and pairing back wires and connecting with block connectors - very basic stuff - then it won't be a problem. If you don't then 20 - 30 minutes of workshop time wiould be a good invsetment. One thing I can tell you is that this simple piece of kit REALLY fixes the problem (IF your problem is the usual 'hot start' issue).
You can find some better pictures and more information on installing here
