I am fitting my old wizards of nos nitrous system to my 450 Chim.

I had used it previously on a V8 Rover SD1 running twin carbs and the injectors were placed in the inlet manifold just below each carb.

Im thinking of either using both injectors in the plenum just after the throttle or in the elbow after the AFM.

Any ideas and tips please.

There are not many who have added NOS to TVR's but I know Cheddar has on his wedge.. and there was a Chimaera who did .. not sure if he is one here though.

Seem to remember there are some issues of legality for insurance.

The insurance company will be informed (due for renewal very soon) and the bottle will only be fitted at the strip.

I used a single fogger injector on a silicone hose elbow from AFM to plenum. Just after bend before throttle, and jetted accordingly for 100 hp. Also, use a progressive controller so it introduces nitrous in three stages over a set time period so as to give the clutch and gearbox a chance to get used to what's on it's way. Retarded the ignition 1.5 degrees. There is a site on google, think it's 'burgerman' can be found on a nitrous search, lot of usefull info' on there. [Had heads off over the winter for porting etc and to have a look inside. Absolutely no problems whatsoever]. To be honest, I hardly ever use it, but it's nice to have it. I know of a couple of other TVR's using it.

Anyone who remembers Zolder a few years ago will know that it's worth a chat to Mr Thorpe.
