I ordered a set of pro race 1.2's for my car under the advise that a would have to wait between 3 to 5 weeks, i hate waiting but bit the bullit and did the deal, this weekend is the 6th week and i'm getting a little angry i mean impatient so rang the shop who inturn got rimstock to ring me, " o yes we have the rears made but have only just got the cast's for the front's so should be with you in about 3 WEAK'S! To say i'm gutted is an understatement thats going to be a total of 9 weeks and then there's a chance they may take longer, has any body else had to wait this long because i'd not have bothered if i'd have known. :-(

Sorry dude wasn't meant to come across that way. I can't wait to see a pic with the wheels on I have been thinking about getting them too. But as I said its worth the wait. and as they are not made anymore I guess that makes them extra special.

I do know the owners of rimstock but I guess they are waiting for the wheels to arrive from abroad?

Thats interesting i thought they where made over hear, the last phone call i had from them was to say they now had the castings in for the wheels so from hear it should be about 3 weeks but given i haven't got a clue how to make a wheel that means nothing to me lol, i guess i've over simplified the whole process and when you take the big picture all in, 9 weeks for an individual unit is probbably fast in the world of engineering.

I wholeheartedly concur.
I waited for months while CCW were busy working on product for race teams. They treated me VERY fairly for waiting patiently and not being rude during our telephone conversations.
When they arrived, it was as though christmas came early!

Sorry to drag my post back up but the answer to my origanal question of how long is. 10 weeks is the answer and boy do they look good :-). If anybody is thinking of 18 rear's and 17 fronts dont be put off by the scare mongers the chimaera handles them fine and gives it a more modern feel allthough i do have adjustable shocks all round and did i mention the look, :-). Nice, one happy chappy, cheers.
