Has this happened to you ?

I reported last year that a young German guy in his Corsa had crashed into a junction island while trying to photograph my car.
On Thursday this week while driving into Hannover Airport the van next to me hit the kirb and left the road because the driver was too bussy trying to photograph my Tuscan.
This morning a car fully of young people didnt make the necessary right curve in the road as the driver was too bussy looking at my car while I sat at the junction, result, lots of screeching tyres and embarrisment. (sheepish grin on young guys face)
I've heard a lot about TVR's reputation as being a hazard to the health of their owners (Topgear) but not so much that they are a danger to other road users. even at 0 mph. Thinking of fitting a camera on my Tuscan as its a bit like living in a Pink Panther movie.
Has this sort of thing happened to anyone else and can I be blamed for the accident just because of my choice in car ?
PS. My wife was with me this last time so now she believes me.

LOL!
Sounds like the next best thing to a fit young lady in a miniskirt bending over to straighten her fishnets.
Its just the same. The lad in the car today was approaching a right hander and just stopped looking where he was going.Sounds like the next best thing to a fit young lady in a miniskirt bending over to straighten her fishnets.

I guessed it was one of the girls in the car than woke him up to slam his brakes on. He stopped 3 foot short of a shop window.
"Well Officer it wasnt my fault coz there was a TVR there"

I was driving down a back lane last year with a mate in his BMW and he kerbed it on a sunken drain surround and totally wrecked his wheel aswell as tyre and when we stopped he said he was too busy paying attention to the noise of my exhaust in the tree lined lane and still goes on about his wheel to this day.

A few years ago I was following a friend to his house in Gdansk Poland.
We did a U turn on a dual carriage way (legal) when I was followed by a police car who wanted to have a closer look at the Chim.
My friend in front of me stopped rather abruptly to turn right after a few hundred yards, so I had to slam the anckers a litte bit not realising that Mr Plod was right on my tail.
The screeching sound of braking behind me was enormous as Plod missed me by about 2 inches.
Their faces where bright red with embarrasment as they went on their way.

A few years back I was with a group of TVR's heading for Le Man's when we stopped for petrol at a small filling station. As I was waiting my turn to fill up I saw a car suddenly stop & the driver stare at the TVR's, unfortunatley the motorcylist behind him brakes where not as good as the car....he cleared the roof bounced off the bonnet & landed on the road. Luckily the motorcyclist was dazed but uninjured. I would have loved to have seen the explanation on the insurance claim
On the way to the Classic this year I was going through a small French village in the Griff when a young guy in a Peugeot coming the other way just stopped dead....oblivious to the traffic behind him......& stared at my car....I thought for a minute my car was on fire or something....I even though he was going to get of his car &

I was going (sensibly) through a long and very echoey tunnel. The sound of the Chimaera was turning lots of heads as i went along. Unfortunately it also caught the attention of a guy riding his bike on the other side of the road who, while looking in my direction, clipped the kerb and flew straight over his handle bars.
Not good.
