Leather/vinyl dye-recommendations?

Hi all,i'm about to fit some temporary seats to my griff,and will need to dye them black from their original green colour.I'd love some recommendations from those of you out there that have changed leather and vinyl colour in this way,before.Any hints and tips on the job itself would also be appreciated Cheers,Mike

Hi Mike. I used Interior Coat from Frost:

Turned my beige dash surround black, and looks factory. The key is in meticulous perparation. I used 3 cans for a dash surround though, plus prep materials. For a good job on two seats you'd be looking at nearer six cans I guess. Possibly more if turning a dark colour light.

I wanted white, and it was seriously difficult to find, since 2 of the shops mentioned here let me order it, then said they didn't have any in stock, and it would be months.

In the end i found some at www.vinyldye.co.uk and it was well worth the looking around and waiting. It makes such a good colour change, even from black to white, well impressed. my speaker covers look mint
