After 4 years at Leven Dan Taylor has decided to leave us. We wish him well for the future and thank him for his time at Leven.

This will leave us temporarily without a technician.

During this period all the work will be under taken by Simon to ensure that the high standards already set are maintained. For those who may not know Simon, he has been involved with TVR’s for over 14 years and ‘spannered’ the Tuscan Race cars for the both the Factory and Independent teams. He frequently works on the cars in the workshop often dealing with the unexpected or tricky problems. Simon also designs accessories and upgrade parts not only for TVR’s but other sports car companies.

Unfortunately this will mean that slightly fewer cars can be handled in the interim period so we would ask that you book well in advance.

Also to minimise the disruption and improve for the future, we have brought on-board an additional person to maintain the flow of parts to support the workshop facility.

If you have any questions don’t hesitate to call us on 01268 281611

I was only talking to him in the pub recently and he said he was really enjoying it.

Best wishes to Leven for their continued success. It's good to hear that they will carry on their outstanding customer service.
A minor correction to the original posting is that the contact phone number is actually 01268-281611 (per their website).

I had heard that Dan was leaving to set up his own TVR workshop in Kent, where he lives. Has anyone else heard this?

I'm sure that was only meant as a joke, but to be clear, in case it is misinterpreted, I know Dan and I know that he was the one that initiated the move, as he wants to pursue his career elsewhere. smile
