Buying second hand - mileage vs repairs

I'm looking around for my first TVR, and I'd like it to be a T350 or Tam. I'm being enough of a saddo to put the likely candidates into a spreadsheet to compare them

In the case of two Tams, both of which would need a warranty when purchased, which is preferable over the other?

(1) a sub-10k miles 2003 Tam which appears not to have had any major work done and was not a daily driver

or
(2) a >20k miles 2002 Tam which has had a new clutch and although not stated, probably had other major work done too unless very lucky?


Are there any strong reasons to chase a 2003 Tam/T350 over a 2002?

look for one with the most recent engine rebuild. should put your mind at rest.
