Slight cross post from here...
http://www.pistonheads.co.uk/gassing/topic.asp?h=0... Son of Cerburgring - SPAreRING '08**
...but as this is NOT exclusively a Cerbera trip and many of you won't visit that forum, here goes.

October 11-14inc, approx 20 TVRs are off to the 'Ring and Spa for some Trackday fun. The second Cerburgring, and the 6th Monspa trip, this is a supported trackday visit to the two best circuits in the world.
With everyone together for 4 days, there's a real chance to gell, and as the trip is supported by two of Dulford Automotives most experienced mechanics, in a truckfull of spares, you can relax and enjoy the cars AND the circuits. World class Instruction will also be available to you at Spa.

A good mix of cars is booked already, loads of Cerbs (obviously) Griffs, Tuscans along with a Tamora and a couple of guys who are currently "between Tivs". Almost certainly our last spa/ring...don't miss it!

Details are above and also here http://www.tvrmonster.co.uk/nexta.html

cheers

We have other countries/venues/ideas on for next year...obviously the Cerb boys may go, but we won't be there.

Be careful at the 'ring. I would stagger your arrival and turn up in a 'sedate' fashion lest you draw too much attention and the noise meter appears.

Aye. It was June this year, on our way to the continental meeting at Zolder, when we went. Must be about the fourth time I've been with no issues previously. This time at least half a dozen of us turned up somewhat 'enthusiastically' - well the approach is downhill and it does sound great on the over-run.
Que noise meter appearing and both Tamoras not allowed to play.

Cheers (oh, and have fun).

Is it too late to sign up for this?

I was at the 'ring a couple of weeks ago and stopped by Spa on the way home to spectate at a track day (gutted I didn't think about signing on for the track day previously).

I'm seriously thinking about going again... I felt a bit lonely in my T350 at the 'ring the other week frown I got a lot of snide comments about how good the car looked but how it would break down after a lap frown It did 12 laps without a problem so what do they know, pah!

The only problem I did have was with the rear wheels hitting the arches in the compressions.
