Making a good cover-shot for Sprint..?
Discussion
I read in Sprint some months ago, the editor saying about how they were short on photos for the front cover, whilst not being particualarly into self aggrandisment, I have however tried to take a few photos of the car of late with the camera vertical rather than horizontal. the best I have come up with so far is here (scaled down):
..however it still seems to lack that certian something.. any advice please from budding Photograpers out there, or anyone with an idea cos I'm not brilliant with a camera
Cheers,
Matt.

Nicked off another thread somewhere.......
This just has to find it's way on to a cover sooner or later
For photos with a bit of sky in them your going to need a blueish filter, even on a sunny day, somehow skys always end up a wishy washy grey
These were taken one after the other after playing around with a polerizing filter

Basically just screw the right sized one of these on the end of your lens
They rotate for sky, or water, without affecting the colour of your 'subject' but they only really work well when the conditions are just right, and your stood at 90 degrees to the sun

Hmmmmm.... I shall have to pop round to Jessops.. I assume the slidey thing changes the angle of the polarisation..?

Matt.
