£1,400 per year for a warranty and they have to confirm that the car is in perfect condition before granting the warranty. Those Porkas must be very unreliable.

I think it was a similar price for a warranty for a TVR speed 6 or a BWM M3 - both of these had pottentially expensive engine issues..

996 - is the same.

Porsche seem to be washing their hands of it .. and like many - outsourcing the warranty. Warranty companies price the product against the risk and try to make money too.

The only cheap warranty is the AA breakdown warranty - it a product breaks and leaves the car undriveable - then they pay £500 for a premium of about £50.

I have a T350 and it was like taking candy from a baby .. surprise they did not blacklist certain cars
