Insurance!!! CAT 1 alarm problem
Discussion
My insurance company (not sure if i should name them just yet)
Wont recognise the Alarm is very simular to a cat 1 ive already sent them the explanation
from tvr which i got off David Gerald.
So at this very moment in not insured for theft!!!
Anyone else got over this problem or will i have to move to a more friendly tvr insurance
I dont really want to have my car played with and have a cat 1 fitted...
Thanks.....Gary

Not sure at what point you are with your insurance but I would consider cancelling the policy (assuming pro rata refund) and go to a TVR friendly insurer.I have been insured with both A-Plan and Sunninghill and neither had a problem with the standard security. To be fair I can see why there would be a grey area with the system but most seem to accept it.
