Im in Chester just on the border with you. But I spend most weekends in Ruthin. I attend the TVRCC meeting near Warrington. Let me know if you want to go.

TVRCC meetings near Warrington are the second tuesday of each month.
Venue - The Swan with Two Nicks - Little Bollington.
Junction 7 M56.
At roundabout take second exit towards Lymm
First right after the Stamford Arms.
Keeping going down narrowish road. Pub is on the left.
gets going about 8PM.
A good friendly crowd.
