After several hours in P1 with the Topcats Marcos, they have had Techy propbs with a broken driveshaft.
Back in it again now, they are P10 and running well.
Excellent performance from Owen (and the Team) who is a comparative Rookie in this field and was running 2:09 laps and had his first stint at night!

Thanks chaps,
We started well with Henry Fletcher at the wheel. After the terrible events at the start and the departure of the safety car we wandered up to third in class. I took over at 11PM and gave it back at 1am at which point we were still third. I managed to get my times down from 2.17 in friday night qually to consistent 2.08s. With some consistent driving and excellent pit strategy we moved to P1 overall which we hold from about 2am until about 10 this morning at one point around 4am we had a 6 lap lead!
I did the dawn stint, taking over from Dax Humblestone at 7 and runnning P1 until about ten past nine, so for two hours 10 mins I was in the lead!! I didnt think that would happen when I did my ARDS test earlier this year! The best part of the day was overtaking a Le Mans Viper down the start finish straight at dawn....that will be etched into the memory for some time. I then handed the car to Henry again, still in P1 overall.
we then dropped to P2 as the porsche started clawing time back from us, but then we had a gap to third.
Unfortunately the drive shaft gave up the ghost with Henry driving and he had to be recovered back from the circuit. By the time the team got the car back out again ( 30 mins to recover the car and only an incredible 11 mins to change the driveshaft - legends) we were P15 with Rachel Green at the wheel. Rachel did a brilliant stint, banging in 2.04s and a 2.03 to get us back to 9th overall. Unfortunately that was when the engine seized and our adventure ended.
An amazing experience made better by a fantastic car and crew ( Topcats - amazing in every way) and I was fortunate to be driving with 3 very talented and very nice people.
......we will be back
