Austec Racing - The men that can!
Discussion
After a long spell with my car of the road (6 weeks) I picked up my Chimaera only to find that the problem still persisted.(after a new ECU/airflow meter(warranty) and a set of HT leads)
Enough was enough, after a post on the forums, I was recommended to use Austec, so made the short trip to see them.
Before I had even got home a message was left on my phone to ring them as they were confident they had found the problem.
Traced to new ECU incorrectly chipped, O2 sensors not working (needed to be replaced). The garage (nonTVR)where I bought the car from, as goodwill gesture paid for the sensors.2 days later my car was ready.
My thanks to Austec, my TVR now runs better than ever, the faults were explained in detail, and I was shown the test technique, and my car was given a once over. I was not even allowed to take the car until it had been washed!!
They treated my car as if it was their own, gave me a lot of information and treated me like a long standing customer.
I would recommend them for any work whether servicing or fault diagnostics, I will certainly be using them again, and its good to have someone who cares locally.
Once again I now experience

Oh yes nspasser said:
Which part of the country are they in? I live 20 miles west of Swansea and the nearest TVR to me is at Cwmbran, nearly 60 miles away. Don't know if they would be up to repairs or faults either. Planning on getting one sometime.
Depends
on how much you like to drive, but Crawley West Sussex, nearest landmark, Gatwick Airport, bit further than 60 miles so you may consider it too far???
