Story goes
Friends and I in April set off to the Nurburgring for a bit of fun. I did not take the Chim as I had a track car to take.
So we arrived in the Premier classe in Dunkirk for an over night stay. S2 “Tony” had taken his Cerb, and upon arriving would not open. Knowing this to be a big problem as his fresh Pants were in the boot and the fuel filler. S2 “ Tony “ knew how to get into the boot so all was ok.
Months pass
So happy with how good the Ring was. I just had to take the Chim, so in September I bit the bullet, a few friends and I set off on the same trip over to the ring.
Now when we arrived at the Premier classe same hotel and a few spaces from where S2 “Tony” had parked a few months previous. With no other history or problems with the boot not working before. “it would not open “ the solenoid was ok but the cable had come off.
I could not help but laugh and then realize bugger the filler cap is under there!!.
I then called tony and got him to ask on PH on how to get in. The only other funny thing was I had anti theft screws fitted !!!!! and the locking tool was still in the UK!!
For those that know what I mean, have a giggle at that ! LOL
Any way the next day I got in with no damage. So thanks to those that helped.
