Windscreen Sealing Strip

Took the roof panel off yesterday and 2 feet of the rubber windscreen edging rubber came off with it.
Anyone know if I need to use a special adhesive/sealant to re-attach, or will Evostik be good enough?

If it came off along the top - it might be an easy repair..along the side .. very difficult.

I am becoming quite a pro at this for one reason or another.
All you need is some black silicone sealant and some meths or similar.

Use the sealant as a type of glue under the rubber seal and put a small bead over where the seal joins the glass, dampen a finger and run that along the area just sealed to produce a smooth finish and tidy the excess up with the meths.

Make sure the rubber cannot move for 24hours or and job done!
