Toyota MR2 - Are you sure?
Discussion
Have recently introduced an associate to our TVR, before he saw it, he was considering an MR2 for £12k!
Suggested he hold fire and get to know TVR's a bit more, started it up for him and let him sit in it and he looked happy.
Wondered if a few of you could post a message with some thoughts for a "maybe" on the circuit....
James, if there are any postings after this one, take a look. They are a good honest bunch on here!
I think pbrettle mentioned the trouble with our lights the other day? (Marshy, you have witnessed this first hand... hi by the way) We drove all the way to Inkberrow (from Newmarket) and when we got there they were magically fixed!! Oh what special characters these cars have! If that had been my Vectra I would have gone stark raving, but you have to laugh and say Bless TVR's...
I thought is was funny anyway.
If anyone is in the Cambridgeshire CC can they let me know when the dates are for the monthly meets? I thought they were first Mondays and Paul seems to think they are first Thursday's. Pretty sure I am right ;-)

About 3 years ago i was thinking of buying an MR2,but luckerly i meet one of my dads friends who had S2,and thought i'd much rather have something thats
1 English(I'm very Patriotic)
2 Sounds Like what all cars should
3 Looks Good and theres not another 500million on the
roads
4 Great to drive and you have to drive them
And now I'm currently looking to upgrade to a Griffith,
even though Im gutted that i'll have to get rid of me S3 to finance it
But thats the TVR Bug, it gets ya and i luv it.

james, I feel you need some convincing to buy a TVR over an MR2......come over on the 7th and see what it's all about.....I couldn't contemplate anything else and haven't wished for anything else since, (a record for me) even after being taken for a blast in a comp altered 500bhp Viper RCA....impressive but not a patch on the real thing
