Just a quick reminder that the October Surrey Sunday is this weekend . We are visiting The Wotton Hatch, Wotton which is on the A25 between Guilford and Dorking (near Dorking). The plan is to arrive just before noon for a slap up lunch and then off into the surrey country side for an optional afternoon run.
Hope the weather stays fine!.
Next month's gathering is a multi-region meet.
cheers,
Karen

Mrs T.

As it happens, I am playing footy for my old Companies Veterans team in Dorking on Sunday morning, so I will try an join you after that if thats ok.

What time are you leaving the WH as I won't be there until about 2ish?

Excellent news - see you there. Mrs H has decided against the footy & TVR's and is going shopping for BTaP outfits. Must remember to hide the cerdit cards!

A wise move HH . Although I'm off into London later for a quick look round myself. On Sunday we'll have to have a chat about our european exploits next year. Le Mans qualifying, Le Mans itself, a trip to France (Reims this time) to the home of Verve and Cristal

Thanks Mrs T for a great little blat around the Surrey and Sussex country lanes.

Not sure what happened after the Bat & Ball - everyone went left on the A 272 - I went right and stopped for a few moments and some came back after a quick U turn. We lost a couple in Petworth and then there were only 4 of us. Note sure what happened to #4 as he dissapeared in Midhurst - hope the 2 who followed me to the A3 in Petersfield got back ok.

Hope to see you all again soon

HH.

I'm really pleased you all had a fun afternoon in the countryside. The pub was packed but the food was up to it's usual high standard. I still can't believe we came across some lawn mower racing!. That certainly looked very uncomfortable!. See you all on the 15th at The Jovial Sailor for more planning for 2004.

Not sure if you Surrey chaps will get the programme, but on Mondays @ 7pm on BBC1, Chris Packham does a prog on local stuff and wildlife - next week, his local report is on Lawnmower racing and it looks like he is at the 12 hour race @ Adversane doing the Pusharounds that I was talking about on Sunday.

I will try and remember to record the prog and let Mrs T Have a copy for circulation to interested parties.
