Bit of a Drive

Here's the plan. Depart Hook of Holland and drive to Stuttgart (400 miles) hotel sorted. Then leave Stuttgart for Mijas, Costa Del Sol, 1400 miles. I'd be interested if any one here can recommend hotels on this leg. I intend to take it easy so just two nights lodging will be needed.

Can't recommend the lodging but the San Miguel will be on ice for your arrival

Clive, whichever way you go, make sure you go bang over the middle of the Pyrenees... it is an awesome drive! I would recommend down to Lourdes and over the Col du Aubisque, which brings you down into Spain at Huesca which in turn drops you onto the Madrid road.
I just found hotels when I got to wherever I was staying.

Allow about 6 hours Madrid to Malaga... I am soooo jealous... would do the trip again tomorrow if I could

Oh goody. Two Tuscans on the Costa Del Sol. Will have to do the Sunday afternoon crawl in Fenquirola
