HELP - BATTERY ACCESS

I left the lights on my T350c for 2 minutes and the battery has dies! i have a high quality charger but i can't find the battery...the manual says its behind the nearside wheel? does this mean the wheel has to come off to charge the sodding battery???? help!

Bugger, had the same prob with my chim, not sure if your T350c is the same but mine is at the front of the passenger foot well, accessed from inside the car with a pushin 2 pin socket to suit the jump leads that are kept in a pocket behind the passenger seat. Hope this helps

Yes, battery is behind an access panel in the wheel arch of the nearside front wheel. Probably wheel off job, but I have not tried myself. There is an 'Anderson' connector which can be used for a jump start, located underneath the car, just below the battery, but you need an Anderson connector to plug into it.

Not sure if its possible, but potentially you could rig something up to connect your charger into the Anderson connector.

If i was you, like many other TVR owners i would buy a mains powered battery charger. This will give you a boost charge for a jump or trickle charge to replenish your battery "normally overnight". Unfortunately these cars dont get run out enough and the battery ends up dying. Of course you still need the anderson leads to carry out both charges! If you do manage to buy one "normally between £50.00 - £100.00" and leave it on trickle charge, if the battery still wont hold a charge then buy a new battery. Battery change is a straight forward job as long as you have access to some form of jack/lift?

Regards to Anderson connector, if you don't have one you can use a conventional battery charger and just clip the croc clips up into the socket holes, bearing in mind you clip neg to neg and pos to pos
