Win a Ride in a Tuscan Racer

Mark Johnston competition kicks off

Insane Racing is offering you the chance to win a ride in their 180mph, 4.5 litre, 450bhp TVR Tuscan 2-seater race car, with Mark Johnston, at the wheel. Mark was the winner of the 2003 Exchange & Mart UK F1 Drivers' Challenge, as televised on Five's Be a Grand Prix Driver.

He will show you the racing lines of one of Britain's best race circuits and take you round at speeds only usually experienced during a TVR Tuscan Challenge race itself.

I was amused to see that when they transmitted the prog all the E&M logos and been (rather badly) obliterated from the background... I guess E&M didn't want to pay extra for the TV exposure and the production company threw them out of the pram...!

If the road is long enough the race Tuscan will comfortably exceed 180mph, with standard gearing. The bonnet does try to rip itself off though.

On a UK race track it won't get to 180mph. At Bruntingthorpe - 190mph+ ....
