Moving to Spain
Discussion
You can only keep a uk car in spain for a period of 6 months witrhout it being re-registeredas a spanish vehicle.
This means either bring it home for a holiday every 6 months, or pop over the border for a long weekend away (don't know whether this would count if contested) or, do what a lot of people we know in Nerja do, ignore the rules totally and run it as normal, obviously keeping up with your tax disc and MOT (which of course they don't have over there... they have something like a bi-annual road worthiness certificate)
If you're there for good, probably as easy to re-register it.
Probably no help to you at all, but seeing as you're going to live in Spain I feel absolutely no guilt
