Now it's not one of my best efforts as I was driving, but it does show almost all the cars at some point and some tunnel action too. The Mic I had with the bullet cam. isn't the best, but next time I should have another camera angle too - I just ordered a new mount for my Sony HD Camera.

Here's the link. Video is ~100Mb and 17 minutes long.

Hope it's better than nothing!

Bumholes!

Just watched the video and would you believe it, there were tunnels on it we missed out.rage

There were also tunnels not on the video from our somewhat lost in the depths of sleepiness routesleep, so that kind of made up for it.

Subjected all my colleagues to that this morning. We were trying to spot my car, but as far as I can see I'm not in there. It's also worrying to note I missed out at least one tunnel! biggrin

Hi Claire, are you trying to play it with Windows Media Player? You should use quicktime or VLC.

Link here to VLC, which is great:

Excellent, well done. thumbup

I can vouch for the audio on the Sony camcorders - see here Thunder in the tunnels 2 part one which I shot on the August run when the light and weather was better. Go to 4 mins in for Blackwall Tunnel. Soundtrack is mainly provided my V8 I guess.

I didn't shoot anything on Sunday as I thought the windscreen would not be clear enough what with rain and spray etc - irked doh !

If you want decent grip equipment and mounts try here http://www.b-hague.co.uk/camera_suction_pads_vacuu...

I've got an external mic for the sony HD cam too, so it's excellent, just didn't have a mount.

As you could see the bullet cam did get a little wet at times, but I did try and clean it when we stopped.
